Comfortable and helpful staff.
The Resort Y Golf Club Paraguayo was a decent stay. The property is spacious and the staff were always eager to help. The rooms were clean, breakfast was decent and it was overall a pleasant stay. The property is a bit dated and they are currently doing renovations. They can also use more English speaking staff at the front desk if they want to appeal more to North American English speaking travelers.

Completely outdated, waited more than 15 minutes for a pool towel, pool area is dirty, hallways look unsafe structurally, expensive and low quality food to purchase, at least 20 bugs in my room. At least, the bed was comfortable. I would not go back and I would never recommend that hotel to anyone.

This is a Hotel over 30 years old, the rooms are nice and clean, the food provided was excellent and the staff was very helpful, my only concern was the very poor Wiffi at times there was no internet for hours on end making our stay difficult for our need to stay online. Expedia should adbised clients of this issue when making a reservation. Apart from that the Hotel is very nice with plenty activitess on offer

It is a really nice place, and when you walk around the area you see all the nicest homes in Asuncion. Tennis, squash, pools, spa etc. Only downside is it is a bit far away from other amenities in the city, such as restaurants, coffee bars, etc.

The hotel is aged, but carries it very well. Rooms with river view are amazing! Food is good as well, and the facilities (pool, golf course, etc) are very good. Service is a bit hit and miss—some times excellent, some times terrible. Still worth it for a weekend escape!

They are in renovation.
The hotel is good, it used to be wonderful. The room is big, the bed a little hard for me. They have two beg swimming pool but in this stay they didnt’ have many peoople working there and they offer just few products . I hope in few day they can get more peoople working in the hotel. Their price are very high also comparing the produts that they offert. The beaksfast is very good.

Third stay here, and this time, just okay. Staff friendly, but not very prompt, except for Basilio who was very helpful at arrival. Room wasn't cleaned for a day (and probably two days if I hadn't complained, wondering if they forgot I was there for 11 days). A/C went out my last night there with temp in the 90's and humidity about 150%! Pool areas (@ Yacht Club & Veranda) needed cleaning. Dinner, however, at Salon Verde restaurant was excellent!

If you expect to rest on your vacations forget about this hotel, i stay last weekend , the party start at 8am, well i have to visit some places anyway, but when the music get louder at 10 pm and keep that way untill 4am in the morning its not good.

Hotel far from everything ! Book somewhere else
We came expecting a very nice hotel but the hotel is pretty old, rude staff and the internet does not work unless you go to the lobby of the hotel where you see 50 people trying to get connection to talk to their families,friends and watch movies on Netflix,etc. The hotel is very far from absolutely everything and the food is expensive and very low quality. The room was not very clean and due to the fact that the hotel is next to the river, there are a million mosquitoes . If you are afraid of dengue or Zika virus stay as far way for this property as you can . There are many better hotels in Asuncion for the same price .

About our Restaurants, we have 7 in all the hotel, we apologize if you didnt like none of the menùs. Just to clarify your comment about Mosquitos, and not to generate panic in our others guests, we have a specialized sftaff who is on charge of a strict fumigation 2 times at day, plus we provide repellent to all our visitors in all the areas (swimming pool, golf, tennis, jacuzzi outdoor etc) Despite of all the situations you mentioned, we really hope you could come back and enjoy the really experiencie of feeling the NEW YACHT.

Nice Hotel
Hotel was nice and clean and service was very good as well. Staff is very polite and welcoming! The resort overall is great with nice places to dine, outside activities and beautiful nature as well! The only negative was no HD tv.

Golf and Tennis Resort
Great place to stay for playing golf and tennis in Asuncion. Golf course seemed quite quiet. Must be about 20 excellent tennis courts. These activities are free to hotel residents, and just across the road from the hotel. My room had great panoramic over Rio Paraguay and across to Argentina.

Perfect getaway hotel near Asuncion

Not good for a business trip
Careful with the hotel shutters to the airport, the minivan is very old, it broke in my way to the airport at 5:00am, though they solve the problem in 20 min, sending other one. The Hotel is quite far from down town (30 min). The way is very poor. I wouldn’t recommended for business trips. The rooms was very nice, clean, pretty view, good bathroom. The breakfast is not bad, the restaurant has an Argentinian style grill, good meat. There is no place else to go around.

Nice hotel, excellent installations, rooms are big and very comfortable, nice and professional design, breakfast one of the best, 3 restaurants inside, one better than the other, two swimming pools very well maintained, is a shame that i was in this hotel for business purposes in Asuncion, so no too much time to enjoy the installations, just one detail that you need to have in consideration the hotel is out of Asuncion, so hotel is a paradise in the meddle of nothing, is a open field aside the river, so the neighborhood is composed by small houses, so the only way in and out from this hotel is by car, but is well worth

Off from center, but otherwise absolute fantastic!
It took always quit Long taxi-rides to the center. Apart from that the Hotel was absolutely fantastic. Great Environment, a pure Villa area, right next to the river and excellent facilities. If going to Asuncion again, I would directly book it again!

Man fühlt sich zurückversetzt in die 70iger Jahre. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Man kann sich gut vorstellen, dass es einmal der Ort war, wo man sich trifft, aber das ist vorbei.

Instalaciones necesitan una pequeña reforma , esta un poco viejo. El servicio en restaurante malo, no nos atendieron bien. La ubicación del hotel ,habitación ,sus vistas y la puesta de sol espectacular.
