Overall, nice and central place in Kitami to stay. Bed was comfortable, several parking lots make it easy to park. We did have some late night partiers the first night, but I was too tired to be bothered and it wasn't reflective of the hotel. I hadn't stayed in a Dormy Inn, but I would stay in this one or another again. Didn't try the onsen, but it looked like a nice small onsen was available.

Excellent location. Ample free parking. Excellent use of space in the rooms. Excellent air conditioning. Excellent laundry facilities. Adequate breakfast. The duvet on my bed was stained, though.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Smile Hotel. Everyone was nice and welcoming. If there was any issue or questions they would answer it. The buffet was breakfast only which was helpful and amazing.

落ち着いて過ごせるよいところで、満足しました
"夕食献立のメインは十勝牛のステーキで満足しましたが、魚介は内陸らしく刺身よりむしろ川魚料理がよいと感じました。デザートのあずきと白玉団子のあんこがあっさり上品でおいしかったです。ベットの部屋でしたが、じゅうたんの一部が波打って、つまずきそうなのが気になりました。部屋置きの浴衣のサイズはジャストサイズでうれしかったです。湯浴み着も個室に置かれていると親切だったと思います。廊下の棚には１着もなかったので残念でした。"

"The rooftop mixed onsen was a big surprise, but super nice as we don't usually get to be with family members of other sex. (You do provide basic swimwear). It was so nice to look over the lake and just chill out in the onsen upstairs, but the main onsen were also incredible. Food options were plenty ..."
