As well as helped us getting a taxi because apparently there’s only one out there 😅 It’s a 20 min walk on flat ground from the Wadayama station so be ready for that. "Everything about our short stay was lovely. The town was very quiet while we were there - our stay was primarily to visit the castle ruins (which we recommend!). Very charming town.
