The owner was nice but it was very old, restaurant closed, slow wifi, satellite not working so no TV, no choice at breakfast, bed was terrible, old matresse sloping on the side so I nearly fell out, hard pillows, very old bathroom, mould in the shower, not good at all. False advertising at 9.2 more like 2.9

Great people

Fantastic owner ! I spent just one night in this hotel/restaurant but I am amazed how kind and friendly was the owner. I mean I suppose he is the owner because he was waiting for me to check in even though check in is until 21, he waited for me till midnight.

Super freundlicher Besitzer, grosse Zimmer, kostenloses Parken und sauber. Leider müssten das Gebäude und die Zimmer dringend renoviert werden. Die Lage ist mit 500 m zum Zentrum ausreichend zentral.

Owner /manager could not have been nicer. Made us breakfast before the usual time because we had an early plane. Then got us a taxi when the scheduled one didn't show up.

Struttura abbastanza centrale. Camera pulita e spaziosa. Ma soprattutto personale molto gentile e disponibile! (Ottimo tiramisù di Roberto ;) ) Ci torneremo!

Un acceuil FABULEUX ! Le personnel et le patron sont vraiment adorables et très bienveillants ! On a vraiment eut le sentiment d'être a la maison ^^ je recommande les yeux fermés pour tous les bon-vivants ! Seul petit bémol: la proximité avec la gare ferroviaire... mais ce détail est vite oublié face a tant de gentilesse et générosité :D nous reviendrons

Empfehlenswert

Sehr freundlicher, fast familiärer Empfang. Sicherer Parkplatz, gutes Internet, überraschend reichhaltiges Frühstück, nahe Bahnhof (der kaum stört) und der schönen Uferpromenade/Altstadt gelegen, ideal für einen Kurzaufenthalt.

Grazie Hotel Michaelangelo!

Roberto was most accommodating and extremely helpful. He was very friendly as was the receptionist and the waiter in the restaurant. We appreciated everything the staff did to make our stay comfortable.Parking at the back of the hotel was no problem. Location of hotel- 5 mins walk from Arona station and a few minutes more to get to the shops and charming old centre and ferry to the islands. Very nice spacious room- we were not bothered by the train line at the back of the hotel as there were only a couple of goods trains during the night. There were bathrobes and slippers for us. Mini fridge in the room was a nice detail as we could keep our edible souvenirs cool before departure. Free wi-fi too. Restaurant offered a huge range of excellent pizzas, fried fish platter was good too.Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in a good location.

Che colazione!

Hotel vicinissimo al centro e gestito con passione. Abbiamo avuto una camera davvero grande e completa di tutti i comfort (frigo, clima, Sky, phon). Colazione superlativa con tutti i dolci fatti in casa dal titolare, uno più gustoso dell'altro... Parcheggio gratuito per la moto all'interno dell'hotel. Siamo stati davvero bene!

Bel accueil sympathique, hotel propre

Le patron très accueillant et volubile, très aimable Hotel simple, pas de bruit, chambres propres à la déco un peu ancienne, mais suffisant pour un court séjour. Parking gratuit assuré.
