"I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. The property is a little run down as one would expect from a hotel of this age, but the beds and room were clean and comfortable with one exception. The bathroom (which is separated from the sink area) smelled mildewy and showed some signs of mildew. The rest of the room was very clean though. The hallway also had a mildew odor and the carpet was pretty worn. It was quiet and the view out the window was lovely. I loved the self check in as there was a long line when I arrived and I breezed through the self-service kiosk in only a few minutes. The property is really nice and it's in a quieter part of the park which I liked (a short walk/drive/shuttle ride from the village, but not as busy and crowded). The restaurant is good and reasonably priced and there was live music Saturday night which was a treat. Good amenities (grocery, post office, etc in the little shopping center next to registration). Easy to catch a shuttle or walk to the rim. I would definitely stay here again if on the south rim of the Grand Canyon."
