This is a great property to use as a base for day trips (by car) to sites in Normandy. We used it to visit D-Day historical sites as well as to visit beautiful Mont-Sant-Michel. "We were on a bit of a road trip in France and had decided to spend a couple of days in Normandy after coming off the ferry. Easy to find and well located for the WW2 historical sites in the area. The hotel is lovely and the hosts could not be more accommodating (e.g. we got an early checkin). The breakfasts were excellent and we had an evening meal there as well - again excellent. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with a separate toilet."

"This is a very comfortable hotel. We stayed a second time as a couple, to use as a base to visit WW2 sites. Ideal. The staff are very welcoming. Great breakfast available, evening meal if requested. "No elevator, usually it says in the description of the property, they left that out. Showers were very small, and bed was lumpy. Breakfast was skimpy, but at least they had fresh squeezed orange juice, but it wasn’t worth what they charged."
