Staff were wonderful. I enjoyed the meals and drinks. Breakfast was nice. Lovely view from the dinning room. The only problem was the stone driveway. It was a little difficult to wheel a suitcase or someone with a wheelchair to the front doors..

Quiet, close to the Palais Het Loo

Great room with renovated bathroom. Plus for a refrigerator in stead of minibar. Quiet. Most of the staff in reception rather young and inexperienced. No terrace as it’s stated in Hotels.com or free water bottle in the room. Great free parking outside the building. A little far from the city center, some 20 min by foot.

A little disappointed

On arrival i had to wait till two staff members finished a personal conversation before they realised i was standing there. Not a good look. Disappointed i was left one small bath towel and one day a stained hand towel. Was not offered any good will. Stayed here before but this visit has tarnished my view.

Good staff. Clean room. Excellent bed, one of the best we've had in a hotel room. Shower is excellent if a little dark. Lighting in the room isn't very bright. Glad we had the room with balcony, that was a great spot in the warm evenings for drinks & supper. Handy that the room had a fridge, and breakfast service has a 4 hour window. Evening menu is restricted, especially at weekends, so if using regularly it will soon become boring. Service on Saturday in the restaurant wasn't great. Out of 4 mains, 1 was off and it wasn't busy, the server was very young and not very interested in the job. Breakfast was always busy but the service was always top notch. Unfortunately, theres only so much cheese & ham you can take 😁 although plenty of options (yoghurts, cakes, danish pastries, cereals). Crispy bacon was a real boon though. All in all we can recommend Bastion very much, just find a restaurant in town (plentiful). Would be happy to return.

De broodjes waren erg hard en droog. Vond het erg jammer dat er geen verse orange jus was, maar uit een automaat die leeg was en alleen maar water uit kwam. Verder was de vloer in de badkamer niet schoon. Het personeel bij de in/uitcheck balie was erg vriendelijk. En heel behulpzaam.

Room was very clean and well maintained. Check in staff were not very friendly. Parking lot is full of pot holes. Hallway on ground zero before taking the lift to get to our room smelt mouldy. Room was very spacious and location is close to public transport.

Mooie locatie en op loopafstand van het theater.

Wij er als koor en mochten op zaterdagavond in de ruimte naast de receptie vertoeven. Het koor zingt en dat hebben wij ook daar mogen doen. De dames van de receptie waren erg vriendelijk net als al het andere personeel.
