"The hotel itself was adorable, clean, and lovely. The ambiance is amazing and just like the pictures. The location was also perfect, being right in the center of town. The beds were comfortable and rooms were nice. The staff, however, was an issue. We had a very unfriendly and unhelpful reception lady. When we arrived with our disabled elderly father, she first scoffed at how much luggage we had (we were 4 people on a 2-week roadtrip with a disabled person), then she directed us to a parking lot that was a 10-minute walk away. After parking there, we asked about disabled parking and were told we could try our luck with a garage that wasn't much closer and there was no guarantee. A simple ChatGPT query told us there was actually free disabled parking literally 100 steps from the hotel. Also, on the first night, we got back to the rooms around 10:30 PM from a long night of sightseeing and dinner. When my disabled father went to lay down, there was only one pillow. I went downstairs to ask for more pillows; the first person told me he couldn't get me and then the same reception lady told me "No, I have already clocked out." When I explained that we needed just 2 pillows, she refused. The following day, I did complain to the manager. He was nice and apologized, but the same receptionist was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Because of her, we would not recommend this hotel. We had a 12-day roadtrip through Germany and Switzerland and she was the only one to act this way."
"Great location just a couple blocks inside the old town area, so easy to explore the town (and walk the town walls😀). Really friendly & helpful staff, good size room and comfortable bed. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and there’s no elevator to it. They may have other rooms without as many steps, and the staff did offer to bring up our luggage, but it was good exercise for us. Great breakfast too, with a table reserved under our name."
"The room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious! It was within walking distance of walled city of Rotenburg and the recommendation for a German restaurant in the area was excellent."
"An amazing stay at Villa Mittermeier! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and the hotel was a highlight of our visit to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Our only regret was staying just one night—we would have loved to stay longer! We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful town."
"This was a very nice moderately priced property I consider an excellent value. There's a convenient grocery store attached and a biergarten. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Free parking."
