"The room was great value, Friendly staff, clean comfy bed etc Only issue which was my fault for not doing my homework, I hadn`t realized the hotel was on the Gretna services and not in Gretna Green its self! it was to far to walk safely to have a look around and a drink. But other than that great place for an overnight stop while on your way up or down Scotland/England."

"I traveled from Japan specifically to visit Annandale Distillery and the Annan Museum, and this hotel was an excellent base for exploring the area. The building has a lot of character and history, but the room and facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. I was unsure how to operate the heater in my room, as this type of heating system is uncommon in Japan, but the staff were always happy to help and made me feel welcome. "Dianne went out of her way to be helpful at all steps of our stay. Great parking facilities, great shower, comfy bed. Everything needed was provided and well thought through. We were able to arrange to collect the keys early as we were due at a wedding and Dianne went out of her way to help us arrange a taxi booking to and from the venue nearby. Breakfast was varied and plentiful."
