Incredible views and great staff

Christine was an incredible host and we absolutely loved our stay at the Aegean Castle. The view from our room was breathtaking- we found ourselves laying outside just taking it all in multiple times during our stay. The breakfast offered was fantastic and Christine gave really helpful recommendations on what to see/where to eat while exploring Andros. We would highly recommend this stay!

Très agréable séjour

Christina et sa famille vous accueillent dans un cadre très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon (les pan-cake sont préparés par Christina). La vue de la terrasse est magnifique et les plages aux alentours aussi. A savoir: la route passe à 30 m sous les fenêtres des chambres.

Decent space, but bad management

Almost nothing about our experience came close to justifying the price tag. The real unfortunate thing was our interaction with Christina, the proprietor. Overall, she was superficially friendly throughout our stay. The problem arose when my wife wanted to do a small load of laundry at one point and asked her where to go to do it. Christina said she'd do it for us, presenting no other options and making no mention of any charge. My wife tried to push back, but Christina was insistent that it was "no problem". We thought, at the time, that this was very nice. At check-out, Christina then told us that we owed what we felt was a pretty high sum for the laundry. When we stated that we hadn't been informed of this and suggested that she tell people about extra charges in advance (keep in mind that we paid her the money), she freaked out, pointing to a small line of fine print in a pamphlet that hadn't even been in our room. She was rude and hostile, yelling and acting like no one I've ever interacted with in the hospitality business. We felt completely disrespected. This is a person who cares about nothing but money, acting incredibly inappropriately and leaving an awful taste in my mouth. If the price we paid for our room had been significantly lower and we hadn't had such a negative experience with the proprietor, I'd rate this place more highly. As it stands, I'd never recommend this place to anyone and feel that there are bound to be better places to stay on Andros.

Situation superbe, accueil chaleureux

Vue magnifique sur la baie. Très belle construction, pleine de charme et de qualité. Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Magnifiques terrasses. Accueil chaleureux et petits déjeuners agréables et copieux. Excellente adresse pour passer quelques jours dans le calme. Une voiture est indispensable car le lieu est isolé.
