The rooms were excellent, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but not the best we have had. We were disappointed in the pool and the hot tub was not working. We would definitely stay there again just for the rooms as they were top notch!

This is a GREAT place to stay! Updated, clean and makes walking around Bar Harbor so easy. No need worrying about finding a public parking spot and paying for it.

One enployee at the front desk was very nice. But her hands were tied to do anything about the many problems they were having. I think its is against the law to run a hotel without hot water. No way to wash dishes in the rooms, or while serving food! This is dangerous!

The staff are excellent - they are kind and very accommodating - but the hotel itself is dated and a little musty, and could definitely use some updates by the Marriott family. The linens and towels were clean, my bed was reasonably comfortable, and the rooms were generous in size, but the carpets could probably use a steam cleaning and it might be a good idea to have someone take a look at the birds going into the vents outside. I had a comfortable night’s sleep, didn’t seem noisy to me, good blackout curtains in my room. There’s no place to dine at the hotel, and the only food/restaurant options are at a driving distance, something to keep in mind.

Michelle and Bobby at front desk were very nice and helpfull. The rooms were very clean. Every room was well supplied. The breakfast was perfect. Pool was not open but only because it had to be inspected by the city for the season. I would certainly stay there again. It's in a nice quiet area but within minutes to Wal-Mart, Market Basket and Restaurants.

Feels like home

To be honest it was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The inly hotel I have stayed at where I could cook my own meals instead of having to go out to eat. I definitely plan on staying again sometime.
