The room was only ready at 6pm Checkin was 3pm. We had to wait in the lobby for hours, tired and dirty Bedsheets had stains Impossible to eep due to noise

Dear guest,According our information you arrived at 16:30 . Unfortunately due to a very busy day with many checkouts the rooms were not ready on time. We understand that it was not akoy knowing you were hear just for one night. Luckely you we are able to checkin one hour later.

The hotel is really lovely, could do with a few licks of paint and a bit more modernising but apart from that it’s great for a weekend away, the road outside is a little noisy at night but your in Amsterdam what do you expect.

We arrived to find they had our booking but no room for us. We waited in reception for nearly an hour, while the staff member told us he didn't know what to do. It seems they sold our room, as we were a late arrival and they said they just had a couple turn up before us. They called in the morning to get us to move rooms, saying the room was ready, but then expecting us to leave our bags in the corridor, as it was not ready.

Dear mister Green ,Thank you for your feedback. Sometimes we have to make changes in the reservations but never from twin to a quad room. Our apologize for this error. In the morning the receptionist just called to see if you wanted to move rooms so we could make the arrangments. Unfortunately they informed you that the room was ready which was not correct. We offered you to leave your things behind the reception and that we were going to bring this to the room when it was ready. In the meantime a room was cleaned and you moved to a twin room as booked. Our apologize for the inconvenience caused.

The hotel was once a lovely well kept place, but since changing hands it has let its self slip into been rundown & the price you once payed was worth it but isn’t anymore. We stayed there for 5 days in February 2024. The windows are now sealed so it feels like there’s no air & the place smells damp & needs decorating & a deep cleaning. The rooms are adequate if they were kept properly & serviced properly. Try buying some paint, it’s the smallest of things that let the hotel down. The building is beautiful, one of the highlights of the property was being able to open the windows onto the street behind & taking in the atmosphere of the church bells & people walking by. It also makes me think if there is a fire where is your fire exit if you can’t exit out from the door. I only hope the owners read this and take note.

Relatively small hotel but very cozy and in a convenient location to tourism. The lady at the breakfast buffet was nice and friendly.

Room had no heat. Asked front desk for a different room, none available. The room was 48 degrees. Made it impossible to sleep. Slept in my clothes and jacket. Do not stay here.

Place was disgusting and had mold everywhere. Maybe mattresses had stains all over them and I believe one was even blood. Was a last minute booking sated until a nice place opened up. Would not ever stay here again.

The hotels have some very old rooms that are smelly and in low quality. luckily they where able to move us to a new room which was great.

Front desk staff were super nice and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything. The breakfast was delicious and totally worth it for €12.50. Location was less than 5 min walk from the Central Train Station which was a plus. Room was clean and quiet.

The hotel is lovely. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The facilities are great and clean and the view in 409 was beautiful. The area in which is it situated is noisy and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to stay out late but be close to where they are staying. There are plenty of coffee shops, bars and entertainment to keep you busy. Lovely hotel and a great place to experience Amsterdam. Thanks

Great location, no so great hotel
The location was perfect but that's the only positive thing I can think of. On arrival check-in took a long time and the guy on reception said only 2 words to us so not quite the warm welcome we expected. We were then put into a small attic room which had a very strong damp smell and moult on the walls. The TV didn't work, the water in the bathroom ran cold and the windows were single glazed so we were continously disturbed by traffic and church Bells.

Dear guest ,Sorry to hear your stay was not so good as expected. Although the room got double glazed windows it will not reduce the noise to zero as the room is facing the streetat the back of the hotel. Other matters has been reported to maintenance.

Dear guest , we do not guarantee early check in as the hotel is fully booked every day. In case a room becomes available housekeeping will clean the asap to make an earlier check in possible. We offered a room and also informed about the noise. First accepted . Unfortunately we give no refund.
