This hotel is brand new! Everything was SQUEAKY clean and the bathrooms are very modern and updated! Not the usual bathrooms you see at this price point or with this brand. The staff was wonderful also and Aldi is within walking distance which made stocking up snacks very easy! Very convenient location to the rest of downtown Alpena also - places like Walmart, Meijer, Applebee's etc were just within a few miles. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel for the area! I grew up coming to Alpena for the summer to spend with family and this hotel is such an upgrade. We have stayed at all the others and this is by far the nicest and cleanest! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The snack area was a huge hit for my daughter and the pool was super nice. Will be booking here again!

This hotel has only been open for about 6 weeks and everything is brand new and lovely. Beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean and nicely set up. The lobby was spacious. The staff were super friendly and nice. The breakfast was nice with lots of great waffle toppings as well as eggs, yogurt, potatoes, bacon, oatmeal with toppings, etc.

I was disappointed with the breakfast selection, being gluten-free. Plus Saturday morning there was hardly anything left when we got down there. Though I don't know their situations, I thought the desk staff handled the cranky clients well. Good job :)
