"Was not able to stay because we got there at 2 in the morning. The host messaged me that we had to pay taxes by 18:00 or they would not leave us room keys. I didn’t get the message in time and we were left exhausted with no where to go."

Really peaceful and relaxing setting. The hotel is beautifully presented, Chantal and Pedro were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was the best we have had in France and we got to enjoy it out in the beautiful garden.

We did not know what to expect but we’re very happy and delighted with the quality of the property. It’s a gorgeous setting. Excellent facilities with tennis court and spa.
Outdoor pool area was very clean and tidy with lots of sun loungers under the shade.
There is a fantastic waiter service serving drinks and fruit platters to the poolside although the little call buzzer wasn’t working when we stayed.
The staff are very helpful and work very hard but it can feel like no one works here at...

First of all, the hosts - Veronique and Jerome were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and I got to practice my French a bit too! Breakfast was very nice with local produce every morning. They also gave us lots of advice about where to go. The pool was lovely and cool with a great view. The air con worked very nicely in our room. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bastide. Julian is an excellent host - very welcoming and interesting to chat to, speaking excellent English. The property is very charming, extremely peaceful and relaxing, and feels authentically Provençal. The breakfast was delicious, served in the atmospheric kitchen. Julian has done a brilliant job renovating this beautiful farmhouse. Highly recommended!

The hotel is situated at a spectacular place, almost in the middle of nowhere. The building and rooms are well kept and nicely decorated. The building is really interesting with stone walls and stairs and many levels and passageways.
Drawback is the check-in time, be aware if you arrive late and contact the owner in advance.

Friendly, very helpful in terms of local amenities and location of all tourist points of interest. Many maps and leaflets available.
Facilities and room excellent, secure parking.
Was exactly what we were looking for when identifying somewhere to stay.

A small hotel, tucked away on the outskirts of Manosque with great views. Rooms are a good size but could do with some "draw space". Good pool and friendly staff. Only breakfast served but has an independent restaurant attached which is excellent. Ideal for a break or as a base to travel locally.

Comfortable and clean room with simple and modern furnishings. The staff were very helpful and informative. The two meals that we ate in the restaurant were excellent. The pool area was clean and well maintained. A small family run business located in a central position in a beautiful and not too commercial spa town.

The hotel is well located within walking distance to restaurants and bakeries, and a short drive to the gorge, which was very handy. Room was nicely decorated. It just needs to be pointed out that the main picture promoting the hotel is actually of a pool in the spa next to the accommodation, and you need to pay to use it... I think this is not fair as it looks like is included.

Our room was on the top floor with a wonderful view of Main Street with the hills behind. It was great to have the little coffee shop in the courtyard to buy coffee and croissant for breakfast. Although no parking at the hotel there were several free car parks very nearby so this wasn’t a problem.
