"Lack of dining options within walking distance but great place to stay"

"Overall this was a great place to stay. Beds comfortable, nice breakfast and convenient to getting into Charleston. The only real complaint I had is that the tub/shower had no grab bars or anti- slip features. Being older both my husband and I felt nervous that we might slip while showering."

"When we got to the room it looked acceptable. Later we discovered mold in several locations in the bathroom and dirty corners in the room. On the balcony we found a bag with food left overs. We had booked for 2 nights and our room was not made up on the second day. Poor management of the cleaning service."

"Absolutely loved this place. Welcoming the minute you walk in the door. Pool was a little cold but it was beautiful and there was a smaller one that was warmer. Hot tub was a little noisy with the pipes or something but it was still nice and hot. Had some drinks at the bar which were fine had a hamburger that was delicious. Our room was beautiful and had a very spacious bathroom and bathtub. Had a beautiful view of the harbor. We were celebrating our anniversary and this place did not disappoint! Big plus was a shuttle running into downtown Charleston and they had a great coffee machine with different coffees in the lobby which we would have every morning and evening. I cannot wait to return to this Resort we had an amazing time!"
