Overall, the hotel facilities were good. The staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast was good. It was also within walking distance of the city center.
We stayed in an upper-floor room, and it was very clean and comfortable. The balcony was spacious and more than sufficient for our needs. The parking area was adequate, and it was great to see that there are charging facilities available for electric vehicles. The welcome and check-in process were satisfactory. Breakfast was sufficient and enjoyable. The hotel’s location within walking distance of the city center was a big advantage. I would definitely choose to stay here again and would highly recommend it.
Two beautiful salt water pools, characterful room, helpful staff and an unbelievably huge, delicious buffet breakfast with everything you could want... plus more greek treats you probably haven't heard of! They upgraded us to a big, deluxe room with a very private balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea. Price was less than we paid in an old hotel in Athens for a tiny room not much bigger than the bed!
Alexandroupoli is a perfect counterpoint to Athens... quieter, more welcoming, less "sales-y).
The only thing for us North American visitors which takes some getting used to (but which applies in all of Greece) was not being able to flush the toilet paper after you wipe. (A small flip-top garbage can is always provided... blech!!) But it's a small price to pay for visiting one the most historical, beautiful and delicious countries on earth!
We would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back!
This was a lovely Christmas Holiday vacation hotel. It was very well decorated in the Christmas season fair. The room was fine, excellent view. Excellent breakfast.
Thank you!!
A very nice hotel close to the airport and the room had a view over the sea. Nice secluded seating area outside the room. Very friendly staff and the breakfast had plenty to choose from.
It is also close to the town’s restaurants, shops etc.
Comfy bed and nice toiletries.
On the minus side: It was hard to cool the temperature down in the room as I like it not being very warm but it was manageable for this short stay.
It is not so isolated between rooms.

A beautiful historic hotel, renovated in the best possible way.
The hotel was very nice; we were very happy with the facilities, the staff, the breakfast, and our room.
However, there was one important point that bothered me. The hotel had several taxidermy animals on display, and this made me quite uncomfortable.
In 2026, especially in a hotel of this standard, it feels strange to still see animals that were once alive, hunted, and then preserved and displayed like this. Honestly, I wonder how this is supposed to make guests feel comfortable.
