Staying here during research on the 61st Highland Anti-Tank Regiment ww2. The building is of particular historical interest to our group being HQ for General Bernard Montgomery during the 1942 Egyptian Campaign. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay

From friendly staff, great access to most sites by walking, an amazing view my stay was excellent. I wanted to stay longer. But definitely coming back to Alexandria if I can stay in this hotel. I also loved the amazing Greek-Roman museum nearby

Amazing old world charm. Def stay there. Great cocktails and service was very friendly and helpful by everyone. Nice bed. Some rooms may be noisy for some people if you are on the main road. Our room had a plumbing smell in the bathroom..not sure if others do.

The historic character & beautiful old elevators are wonderful. The staff is kind & helpful. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection but wasn’t delicious. The coffee wasn’t very nice. We’ll be happy to return, of course.
