The vehicular barge from Kuwait City to Failaka Island. There are no amenities on board and in 2006 the timings were erratic and there was no schedule in English or English speakers at the terminal, but somehow I still managed to get there and back again... This was the bank on the island. There was a burglar alarm hanging ironically from the wall. Artillery fire was from the first gulf war.
Local Souk where you can find lots and lots of stuff! Definitely a must go if you want to get to know the culture of Kuwait.
