Villa Marine consists of a series of rooms in different levels up the side of the hill overlooking the river (there are some very cute riverside restaurants just in front of it) - the property is lush, with many flowers and has a gorgeous pool and restaurant (with a great included breakfast). "A fabulous hotel with excellent, friendly staff in all areas. I particularly loved the waterfront with a few jettys and the swim out pontoon. We had good fun jumping in from the far one nearer the Dolphin Park which was quieter. This was also stocked with bins of cold drinks as it was futher away from the beach bar. "Very central to beach and restaurant area. The hotel is older but clean with pool and friendly staff. All the reviews about the noisy bars are true, clearly no fault of the hotel I wonder why local govt don’t do anything as when you go to the bars they’re too loud to sit in for more than one drink anyway."
