Great heritage hotel !!! We do not get service like this in the USA!!!! From the time we arrived the staff was engaging, attentive and knowledgeable. So many little things made out stay memorable. Our room was like a suite, clean and welcoming. From the afternoon tea to the nightly entertainment. The front desk staff were very professional, friendly and outgoing. They started our stay out right by telling us about the property and all it had to offer . We did use the spa services and they were fantastic. The breakfast staff were excellent as well , they made us feel like royalty every time we ate in the restaurant. The restaurant staff were very diligent in making sure we understood all the different selections they had to offer , and it was great to have them explain what the different foods were and make suggestions on what they felt was good. Thank you for being very patient with us Americans. And finally the location of the property is great !!! It is close enough to everything, yet not in the ruckus of the hotel zone. Had a great courtyard and a very nice pool. We highly recommend this property to everyone traveling from the USA, reasonably priced with service that goes above and beyond.

Hotel was dreary. Stayed for 2 nights and room was not made up on second day. Had to request clean towels. And for some reason, all the towels were damp. Food in restaurant was mediocre. Staff not attentive. Huge disappointment!

Fantastic hotel, if you get the right room

Was a nice hotel, but the room wasn’t as described in hotels.com information. There was no furnished terrace, or deep soak bath in the deluxe room. The room we were given, 112, smelled very damp and disturbed my sleep. In addition, there was no double bed, just 2 singles pushed together and made up as a double. The bed was also too short for me, due to the footboard - I’m approx 5’8” tall. On mentioning my concerns to the manager the next day though, we were upgraded to a luxury room, which did have the bathtub and the furnished terrace, and smelled better. The bed was bigger and thus more comfortable, thus I give good marks for service. Breakfast was exceptionally good.

We spent two nights at this beautiful heritage hotel, I loved the old fashioned brass padlocks on the doors. Our room was spacious, beautiful and clean, but a little dark and the blinds could not be opened. As the room opened onto an open baloney road noise could be hear thought out the night. I was told at check in that our room had been up-graded, however we booked and received a deluxe Room, so at the loss on that one. Restaurant was overpriced and food unappealing. At breakfast waiting an age for 2 omelettes to be made, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. On our second night we were given the bill after ordering 1 after dinner drink which made us feel most unwelcome. The hotel hosted a wedding during our stay, which detracted from the traditional Indian dance show by the pool on the first night and prevented us from using the pool or sleeping on the second night due to load music and fireworks. When we mentioned this to the staff on check out she just smiled at us.

Stayed at the Grand Imperial in August, the staff was very welcoming especially Mamta at the front desk who was very helpful. The rooms were clean and very specious with decor representing the time the building was built in the early 1900’s and distinctly maintains its charm. Staying here you feel like one is experiencing history, The front lawn is of a good size and feels intimate, the swimming pool is clean and a good to relax after wandering around the city. The hotel also hosts a puppet show by local artists and provides complimentary mehendi (henna) by a friendly lady named Sabiya. The breakfast is great with a good selection of Indian and continental options but the restaurant though good is a little pricy. The hotel doesn’t have a gym and the roof is accessible and you can see the Taj Mahal. Me and my family greatly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

A heritage stay in agra

In the middle of Agra, this heritage hotel from the early 20th Century gives you peace of mind, whether going to the Taj Mahal or visiting Agra Fort ir city. Incredible service, you can have a dive at the pool or a visit st the spa. Every room has a bed with a canopy, very nice pre Independence bathroom, and matching furniture. It’s like going back in time. Highly recommended.

Great hotel 3km from Taj Mahal

Great little colonial hotel, in Agra. The hotel was extremely secure, staff lovely and the breakfast out of this world. Hotel a little tired but on average great value for money.

Devansh the general Manager was so charming enthusiastic and helpful. He was like Dev from the Marigold Hotel on speed. Area is noisy but once inside a complete oasis of calm. Wonderful period hotel with great history so don’t miss the experience. 10 minutes from the Taj Mahal

Best service in Agra

The staff have been amazing on all my 5 days of my stay . But they have to change few things in their rooms. If you are allergyc then is not your hotel. rooms are very dry and moldy in bathroom. The room are frash painted and the rooms service is very focused to help you.
