"Very nice property and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Their restaurant was quite good with reasonably priced options and drinks. We sat outside on the deck, which was great. Room was very nice and bed was comfortable. Could use extra sleeping pillows. The bathroom could be upgraded - but it IS an old inn. Staff were all excellent and very helpful!"

We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights, and the hotel is not cheap, so I was taken a little aback that there as no.maid service on Sunday - no new towels and such. We wanted coffee pods for the next morning, and that took us a while to hunt down. Other than that, a great base for exploring Fort Ticonderoga!"

"You get what you pay for! Clean bed , wifi, TV and air conditioning. If you are traveling and need an inexpensive place to put your head down and sleep, the price is fair. Don't expect anything else. It's a simple motel , open doors to outside, two chairs and picnic tables throughout. Just don't expect much."

"Alexandra and Anthonie were both super nice and friendly. When we arrived, they gave us a rundown of nearby restaurants to go and have dinner. Then showed us to our room and amenities. Room and bathroom were clean and comfy, wifi was fast there were extra pillows and blankets if needed. The area around the Inn is very cute, my girlfriend and i went for a walk in the nearby park in the morning and visited the Inn bookstore (we ended up buying 5 books lol). "What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. "We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. "Noticed a slight earthy taste in the water on our 1st day, didn’t think anything of it. On the second day I noticed the bath water when I filled the tub was slightly brown. This unit has had “boil water” advisories in the past. Asking the state board of health to help determine what was in the water."
