The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. She upgraded our room at the same price as the one we reserved.
However, the room was not clean, floor dirty, and looked shabby. The parking lot was full of pick up trucks and workers staying there drinking liquor and smoking on the curb. I felt unsafe there.
Honestly the employees were absolutely amazing! I honestly do not know if they just purchased the property because they are working on things or what’s going on. But our room was very dirty, there was poop on the side of the toilet that had not been cleaned and bugs in the bath tub. I was mostly upset about the fact that the pool was down and that was not stated. We took our daughters for just a night away for school shopping and my four year old wanted to stay in a hotel and swim. So that was our main reason for getting a hotel.
Other than the fact that it was dirty and the pool was down the staff was very nice, and I felt for them. But everything is not well maintained and the pictures are very old it’s not what it looks like now.
This hotel is far from clean. For starters, watch the video on the Google review to see how filthy the carpet is. It literally sticks to your feet and turns the soles brown. My freshly washed socks stuck to the carpet and turned brown as well. Disgusting.
There was dried urine on the underside of the toilet seat, pubic hair and stains in the shower, ripped and brown stained shower curtain, damaged bathroom door, and not a single wall in the room free damage or partial repairs. All that was missing was crack 304s and dealers.
I absolutely do NOT recommend staying here despite having a working air conditioner and friendly staff.
Sofa in the room looked pretty disgusting with stains, so we just avoided sitting on it at all. The TV's volume was locked so low (under 50%) that the speakers may as well not even have worked. Only one tiny trash can in the whole room. AC worked well enough though. Staff was generally friendly and parking is a bit limited, but we were never without a spot. Could certainly do worse in Abilene.
Parking was adequate for the size of the hotel building. Several areas that were being renovated. The room did not have a TV due to the previous occupants that had broke it. Not a big deal. We were there to sleep. The room and hotel for the most part was clean and comfortable. Complementary breakfast was small but tasty.
This hotel had everything we needed. Our room was clean and cold! The property is older, but I was satisfied with the cleanliness and the staff was nice. I would stay here again.

The staff was very kind, the breakfast was poor, there were no drinks, just cereal and waffles. My bedroom was dirty, we found an empty bottle of water in our room.

The staff at the front desk when I arrived was nice. When I got up to the floor that my ro was on, there was messes everywhere up & down both sides of the hall. There was a box springs mattress left in front of the vending machines to where you couldn’t get to it or the ice machine. They were renovating the hotel so I could understand it being a little messy, but the way they left everything was ridiculous. The next morning when I was leaving, they had trash cans on opposite sides of the hallway blocking the walkway & I could barely fit through there. The room was a decent size though & was fairly clean. The ac/heat unit’s buttons were messed up & unreadable, so you couldn’t tell what you were switching it too or what speed it was going too.
Good heavens. I just needed an impromptu late night place to sleep a few hours and have a shower at the end of a road trip delayed by thunderstorms. All rooms in Abilene were ridiculously high compared to normal, 200+. This one was over $100 for the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in after years of travel. No A/C anywhere in the hotel except rooms. The front desk guy was miserably hot, but still friendly. Kudos to him. He spent several minutes sorting through a stack of used key jackets to find one with the correct number on it. They reuse them, and they were worn. Yuck. The room took forever to cool down. The bed was rickety to the point I was afraid to turn over too quickly. The mattress literally tipped when I sat down. Chips and food were still on the floor from the last stay. I found no evidence of bedbugs, though, and stayed since it was after midnight and my reservation online was non refundable. Pillows were so old they should have been tossed years ago. The bedding was old, worn, and full of holes. Skimpy thin towels, no soap or shampoo, so I skipped the shower because I was afraid of the tub being dirty. I basically crashed a few hours, redressed, and left quickly. No one was at the desk when I left. I dropped my keys on the front desk and ran. Please listen to me - do not stay at this location. Sketchy people all around, nasty facility. Wish I’d taken pictures, but I just escaped as quickly as I could.
The room was missing the couch cushion covers two pillows for a king bed no toilet paper in the bathroom and trash from the past person was still in the closet near the entrance horrible when we arrived it took 30 minets to find the person to get the room horrible place won’t ever stay here again
The good: location.
The bad: staff largely MIA…no towels in the room, pool (which was one reason we chose this hotel) not filled/usable, room sofa full of burn marks & spills/fluid (ick) and 1 pillow for 2 people. Trash overflowing in trash cans in lobby..and the ‘breakfast’ was hot water and instant oatmeal packs…that’s it. Would not stay again.
Room wasn’t clean and missing multiple items, no working tv in the room, no air conditioning in main areas, for price of $125 it is definitely not worth it!
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Hallway carpets filthy. Marijuana smell so strong in hallways you could hardly breathe and room had stinch smell I can't explain. I wish we would have left when we got there but due to no refundable of $243.00 we stayed. Breakfast area had no napkins and only waffles was all you could get during breakfast.
Honestly can't believe Expedia books with them.
Oh and no a/c in hallways or front desk area.

Hotel Canceled my stay still got charged for it. Expedia do better
The nastiest hotel I have ever seen. They steal money from people by lying about what they offer. The room was disgusting. The smell was horrible! There was no roof on the building. No AC in the lobby that smelled like soured milk that had exposed electrical plugs. The couch in the room was so stained and tore up. The room had food particles all over. The microwave had not been cleaned. The wall was rotten. The door latch would hold the door closed.
