Gone downhill

Stayed at Le Wafou a few times over the years. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of food options in the poolside bar and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the pool was now open only between 10am and 5.30pm, so after a long hot day at work I couldn’t relax with a cooling dip. Although security was in place at the gate, local ladies were allowed in and offering various ‘services’, made the poolside feel a bit uncomfortable. When I first went there it was quite cool place with a show on the stage. Now it all looks a bit grubby sadly. Rooms had been refurbished, but still way below the chain hotels in the area. AirCo in the room was quite noisy, but at least worked! At the price, I expected more. It’s such a unique and quirky hotel

Le Wafou

Nice hotel in Abidjan, if you are looking for a bit a resort feel and quiet while staying in busy Abidjan, this place is for you. Rooms might need some updates still.

Never got a working phone to call for room service and I had to ask 3 times for towels for my room, that eventually I had to go to reception and pick up for myself

Un endroit très sympathique. Le personnel est très gentil et agréable. On y mange vraiment très bien, bravo au chef de cuisine. J'y reviendrai sans hésiter.

ich bin ein regelmässiger Le Wafou Gast, normalerweise TOP. Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Lage, feines Essen, ich mag den tollen Afrika-Stiel. ABER dieses Mal pure Katastrophe als Geschäftsreise: ein auswärtiger Kunde machte eine grosse Party im Hotel. Sehr laute Musik ab rund 19:00 pm bis rund 2:00 am Morgen. Ich hatte einen Flug um 9:00 am - sprich ich habe überhaupt NICHTS geschlafen. Alles was Hotel machte, sich vorher schon schriftlich für Lärm entschuldigt, Wahnsinn!!! Mein Hotelzimmer war rund 50 Meter direkt neben der Tanz/Musikbühne. So etwas geht gar nicht, speziell wenn fremd-vermietet/organisiert :-( Absolutes NO-GO für Hotelgäste (und ich bin mir Abidjan Lärm/Musik gewöhnt - habe dort über 2 Jahre gelebt...)

The staff was very rude towards the end. I asked for a simple beverage in the am during breakfast and one of the gentleman stated that they were not open yet. However when I Ispoke with the reception desk they said thay they should be have already been open by now.

Mis dans une chambre ou des travaux était effectué au-dessus. Personnel qui rentre dans la cambre sans frapper à la porte. Inondation depuis le plafond du dessus durant une averse.

Danger to your life. I had 2cm water all over the room from the toilet in the middle of the night in the suite room for 300$ a night. Potential electrical shock plus suitcase incl. clothes spoiled. No reaction from the reception employees. Never again Wafou.

Un cadre vraiment sympa mais attention au Wifi

Le Wafou présente un cadre vraiment sympa.Architecture surprenante, piscine très agréable et personnel très attentionné.Je n’ai pas eu la chance d’avoir une des belles chambres présentée dans les photos de l’hotel et avoue avoir été un peu déçue à l’arrivee. Chambre grande confortable et au calme tout de même. Seul bémol pendant ce séjour,un Wifi très aléatoire,vraiment désagréable lorsqu’on y séjourne pour le travail.Ne pas hésiter à faire appel au technicien pour régler ces soucis d’internet

Hotel Agreable

Hôtel,très agréable . Les chambres sont spacieuses et propre avec une très bonne Wifi . Le personnel de la réception sont très professionnel ( Problème de réception TV , on m'a proposer de changer de chambre) et le service restaurant est très bien ainsi que les plats proposés . La piscine est fort agréable pour un rafraichissement en fin de journée; Peu de chose à faire et à voir aux environs proches de l’hôtel .
