You get what you pay for. However, a bit above your average Ibis, as we had a wonderful view of the countryside from our bedroom.one couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for the money.

It was the perfect location for our onward travel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was great.

Very friendly staff who proposed to keep my food needing to be kept cold in their reception Fridge. Very quiet and very close to many shops including a very nice boulangerie pâtisserie which is open even on Sunday until 8 pm.

First stop en route to Portugal
Lovely hotel, well situated away from the main road. Found it very easily. Great service at reception, a nice room and lovely food in the restaurant. Nice breakfast and easy checkout. Only negative is the room was a bit cold, but the time of year (January) and outside temperature probably didn't help. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great dog friendly stop over on way to Calais. The restaurant food was great and we did not pick the hotel for the location as were arriving late and leaving early for our LeShuttle to UK. Perfect stay with our dog at a great price.

Quiet location, modern and dog-friendly
Lovely, quiet Ibis with modern facilities. Surrounded by green fields with plenty of parking, great menu with a dog-friendly area in the restaurant. A couple of hours from Calais so maybe not the first choice for crossing purposes, but well worth factoring in the time for the two hour drive.

Mediocre review some good some bad
There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. They was no water machines to take into your room. Bed was very comfortable but the room was incredibly basic. Ground floor rooms were completely different and worth 3 stars but not the top floor. The food was amazing though

Convenient as a stopover. The rooms are very small with no hot drinks facilities. The customer service is good and the restaurant serves pleasant food. I wouldn’t stay for more than one night.

The room was very small hence not easy to move around, towels are very thin, no drinks facilities in the room and although I complained about the heating not being on in the room no-one went to the room to sort it out. It was very cold outside and inside all night! A convenient hotel for one night with free parking.

You won't find better for a stopover
An excellent hotel for a stopover with a decent restaurant and a very good breakfast. There are other eating options very close - walking distance - too.

Top service and stopover hotel
This was used as a stop off on our way back to Eurotunnel. For a chain hotel completely met our requirements in terms of convenience and the friendly reception we received from Tristan and his colleague was first class - nothing was too much trouble. We took the half board option as we didn’t want to have to go out once we checked in and the dinner and breakfast options were perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and we often struggle in France but this was not a problem here. We also stayed with our dog which was very easy. Fully recommend.

The room was bigger than previous stays in Ibis hotels. Friendly staff. dog friendly with surrounding fields. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Great value. Not a very secure location
Great price, clean with a decent breakfast. Let down by the area and felt that the car was was at risk. Wont use again unless there was a gated car park which was locked overnight.

Considering the price you get a decent sized, clean room, comfortable bed, spare pillow. The bathroom is one of those prefab drop-ins, but good sized shower, though indifferent water pressure. The bathroom door wouldn't shut, but not a problem in our case. Good number of electricity sockets, including bedside. No tea/coffee making. Heating seems non-adjustable, but adequate. Good basic menu at the restaurant, shuts 21h30. Difficult to find at night: once you're inside the driveway, look up for the unilluminated sign, otherwise you'll end up with kidney dialysis.

Rooms Cold and Heating System Poor
While I absolutely understand the need to reduce energy wastage for both environmental and financial reasons the new heating system installed at this hotel is just not fit for purpose. The system is designed to switch off the room heating off when it it doesn't detect movement in the room (ie the room may be empty). This sounds a great idea but unfortunately when you arrive late and its bitterly cold outside the room is equally cold when you enter. Yes the heating comes and it warms slightly but, say you then go down to the restaurant for a meal...yep the heating goes off so once again you return to a cold room. Then you go you bed (to keep warm) and guess what the heater doesn't detect any movement so shuts off. Now I get the need to reduce global warming but there must be a better way to control heating than what is a pretty crude and simplistic motion sensor on a electric radiator under the desk. For the price of the room I do expect to be warm.

Good location
The location was great for me as near motorway and shopping the room clean good size but cold and lumpy pillows plenty of parking and a good price for the room i will stay again and take my own pillow the staff friendly
