"The hotel lobby was nice. Tgen going around to where the rooms were it all changed. Very run down. Dumpy looking. Remodeling going on. 1st room smelled like dog pee. 2nd room ok. Pretty low class."
"Room was marginal. Coffee maker did not work. Bathtub faucet constantly leaked with constant small running water. I would NOT visit again. Next morning at checkout, staff made not apology, no comment regarding these issues."
"The staff was exceptionally helpful. I was quite disappointed when I got to my room. There was a long Walter stain in the closet. The second bed was pushed against the a/c. The mattress was awful. No give and lik sleeping on wood. The bathtub did not look clean and especially the drain. The were a lot of cosmetic issues that could have been easily corrected. In short, if I had not been colored from driving 11 hours straight, I would have found an alternative hotel. On that note, the room was non-refundable. I saw why. You should probably get a secret shopper to visit properties before you believe ratings. I will not visit again. I’d rather sleep in my car!"
"The front office staff was excellent. They were kind, courteous & efficient. The hotel is OK. It was relatively clean, although the sheets & towels were badly stained. The indoor pool, which seemed to be the primary reason many were staying there, was not very clean & the heater in the pool & hot tub were not working so the water was not circulating (nasty) & was frigid. Pretty sure it would not pass inspection from the state. The hotel in general needs a big upgrade & renovation. The furniture is old, worn, dated & had holes. The tile in the bathroom floor is cracked & broken & the grout is completely missing in places making it not only unsanitary but also a little dangerous. The bathtub was nothing short of disgusting- rusted, moldy & nasty looking. Great job staff! You did an amazing job for what you had to work with. "
"Clean room. Kitchen was not well stocked for cooking. No bowls for cereal. A/C unit was extremely loud. Loud enough to wake you up in the middle of the night. Had to call the answering service to get door code. Took about 15 minutes to get into the cabin. "
