This pertains primarily to the young lady who checked us in on the evening of Jan 7. No greeting, no welcome, just said checking in? Then laid the key on the counter. No comment, no verification, nothing. Totally indifferent attitude. The same girl later took our meds to be refrigerated but she put them in their freezer, which ruined them. The manager couldn’t even find them at first because the girl apparently didn’t leave any documentation for the other employees to locate them. The manager handled the situation very professionally. They did have a nice breakfast. No drinking glasses in the room. Room was always cool no matter how we tried to adjust the temp. Zero counter space in the bathroom. $11 for a draft beer. You decide!

Great location when visiting Aalborg. Breakfast and the room was nice. The only two issues we had was, there was a lot of dirty plates and cups among the clean ones at breakfast. Not misplaced just not properly cleaned. Second one is that on Saturday night there was a party at the hotel and the noise from it was terrible and ruined that nights sleep.

Noisy room.

I was given a room (342) placed at third level, windows facing ventilation system. It was so noisy, even with the windows closed. Like having a truck just outside your door. It was nessesary for me to leave the room, to rest my ears. I informed the hotel, they were sorry. I find that you can’t offer this room without informing people. I have stayed at the hotel before, and had a good time there, so everything else is fine.

Location is excellent and close to everything. Parking on facility is limited. We reached midnight so the parking was full. Staff was kind enough to help us find a public parking. Condition of the rooms is OK. It’s old (but I personally like it). Staff were very helpful. The only note is that the cleaning of the room is not well done. The carpet for example was not vacuumed for 2 days even though had some dirt since day 1.

I was staying with friends as part of the Aalborg Karneval. The team were really helpful from prior to arrival with pre-arrival messages and updates. During our stay the team were all really helpful and welcoming. We booked a twin room and it was with comfortable clean rooms, with ensuite and toiletries included and hairdryer in the bathroom. The public areas were nice and kept tidy and clean, considering it was Karneval weekend it was great. Breakfast was nice with a great selection and good tea and coffee, and juice. There is complimentary tea, coffee and water in the reception area. The location to the city centre and location attractions is fantastic and if highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel with friendly and welcoming staff.

Dated feel

Quite a dated hotel. Room was fine in size, but ridiculously cold, acceptable for sleep but uncomfortable for working. Bathroom was very dated, small shower with quite cold water. It was relatively cheap but still disappointing as a whole.
