"Location is great but the place is unfortunately poorly maintained. Rooms are ok but bathroom was dirty. Closet broken as well as rack for hanging towels. Pool has a spectacular view but extremely limited opening hours. Breakfast very basic. Be aware of mosquitoes, there are a lot!"

"This is a budget hotel - so don`t expect anything more. It is good value for money and in a location about 10 - 15 minutes walk from Chiang Saen centre. There are no cafes close to the hotel so be prepared to walk or take a ride to the centre of Chiang Saen. The staff are friendly and helpful."

Our bedroom (like most of the others - probably need to specify) had a a glorious view the Mekong and Laos on the far side. On the downside, our room, though comfortable, had no bedside lights, no international TV channels and no telephone to contact Reception which was some distance away.
