Great location in Zurich

Great location. Only minutes from train station. Large kitchen downstairs for those want to cook a full meal otherwise, there is a kitchenette in the room. Staff was very helpful as my niece arrived early. They were able to let her check in early and also waited for me to arrive for the credit card information. Highly recommended.

Selfcheck Erfahrung

War das erste Mal so in so einem Selfcheckin Hotel. Wer es mag für den ist das bestimmt ok, ich werde in Zukunft nur die persönliches Ansprache suchen. Ist sicherer, falls mal was schief geht und Du niemand findest. Preislich sehe ich hier keinen Vorteil.

Apartments not a hotel

It was confusing. This was sold to me as a hotel when in fact it's just apartments. There is no concierge, unless you have a problem in which someone from the other Hotel will come across. There is a kitchen area on site which is self service and from the looks of It is kept clean and tidy. There is parking but you have to pay for it at 18chf a night. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There isn't a kettle or ironing board.

Modern with many flaws

The checking was at a computer terminal, while I thought this will be fast it took more than 30 minutes, the system could not retrieve my reservation, once I had the helpdesk support giving me a different reservation number, on the option to add a parking was not possible and again a call for the support, also seemed a bit over priced for the night parking 18.- CHF 10 minute walk would have been free parking for all night. Finally get to the room, looks modern and clean and new. There were some surprises, no air-condition so staying here in the summer will be painful. When going to the bathroom there is no door! Just a very thin curtain, you ask yourself what were they thinking? In the shower room was rather small so limited moving space but at the elbow level was a glass shelf and if you turned around you hit yourself for sure again you ask yourself what were they thinking. Middle of the night you wake up to some strange sound you realize it’s coming from one of the 2 fridge in your room and hope it turns off soon, but every hour it is back on, making not just the Engin sound but also you her the water pressure and more and it was very annoying. Checkout there was no place visible to drop off the room cards, giving them to a staffer she asked if I used the mini bar? I said you need to put something in it first. Again you would ask what are they thinking asking something they should know. For the price Vs. value don’t recommend it at all.

Sehr laute Lage und kalte Zimmer.

Angekommen bin ich an der Rezeption des Partnerhotels (Classic). Dort wurde mir gesagt, dass ich noch einmal alles einpacken muss und 2-3 Minuten zum „Home“ Bereich des Hotels fahren muss. Nun gut. Nach 10 Minuten Suche der Parkhauseinfahrt, endlich im richtigen Teil des Hotels angekommen, durfte ich mein schön eingerichtetes Zimmer ansehen. Alles schwarz weiß mit Hochglanzlack. Dennoch hat das Zimmer 2 entscheidende Nachteile. 1. Es liegt an einem Kreisverkehr und hat keine Schallisolierung! 2. Es ist richtig kalt. Als ich ankam, waren 18,5 Grad im Zimmer. Ich habe die Temperatur der Heizungssteuerung (mehrfach) auf 22 Grad gestellt. Am nächsten Morgen waren es da 18 Grad.

Very slick and modern hotel

Trendy, slick and modern hotel next to the business cluster. Actually there are two properties- 'home' and 'classic' separated by street. Note that Home is unmanned- checking is done by the automated machine at front entrance. And if there is some non-standard situation, you will need to go across the street and do manual checkin at the reception there. Otherwise - fine stay for couple of days. Breakfast is good, but quite expensive so if you are on budget, big Coop supermarket across the street has plenty of deli options.

Hotel sem recepção

Perdi quase uma hora para conseguir fazer o checkin porque ele, simplesmente, deve ser realizado em outro prédio, do outro lado da rua. O hotel não tem recepção. Isso tudo sem qualquer aviso na confirmação da reserva ou nas informações do hotel.

Zurich overnight!

What a great place. 15 minutes by train from the airport. Very comfortable bed in a new high tech setting! Just stayed overnight for a plane connection! Amazing price for a beautiful room! We would surely go back!

poor interior architecture

Very questionnable interior architecture... Toilets inside double bedrooms with no separation at all... or in the suite with just a glass window. Lamps all light up with 1 button in the suite... so I can't be up in the kitchen or sofa with lights on if my partner wanted to sleep in the bed... Had booked 2 weeks through hotels.com and was asked to pay first 400 francs, then 97 francs of city tax on my departure... Which hadn't been mentioned at the booking. Didn't received a receipt for this amount, called twice.
