"The rooms were so cute, decorated well, and had everything I needed. The views from the hotel were beautiful, and the decor was so unique, inside and out. Breakfast was great; they brought out several traditional dishes, and the hosts made us feel at home, just like family!"

Had good Wi-Fi and a nice bathroom and was a tiny bit on the small side compared to some of the other places we stayed. We took the most amazing photo from our bedroom. We recommend this hotel highly for its good value."

"It was a privilege to stay in the old town next to the castle in Gjirokaster. High above the modern city, next to castle and the old bazaar, it was not only convenient but an experience of a life from another time. Ever wonder what it’s like living way up on the hill in the castle? Last night residing in the old town, adjoining the castle, was that experience. "It’s is in a perfect location close enough for walking to the attractions but far enough away to be quiet at night. The hotel is modern on the inside and has a beautiful and shady outside area."

"Tough to get to but nice parking area. Google Maps takes you the wrong way so lookout. My room heater didn’t work and the lights in the bedrooms area didn’t work so had to depend on the glow from the bathroom light which did work. One of two small night stands didn’t work and the one that did had a short circuit so it went on and off. Breakfast was really weak but a very nice effort. This is a small place so it’s great if your expectations are in proper alignment. Location is fantastic....

"Excellent location for exploring the Gjirokastër bazaar — right in the heart of it all. Arriving close to midnight made parking a bit tricky to find at first, but once we explored the bazaar the next day we discovered a convenient parking deck nearby with shortcuts that made getting to and from the hotel with our bags easy. Our room had stunning views of the mountains, the castle, and the city below — an unforgettable setting. Highly recommend!"
