"We came for the Double Decker Festival and this was the perfect hotel. The have a shuttle service which was so handy for getting to and from the Festival. The hotel is adjacent to campus. It is a beautiful location and beautifully decorated. The staff were all just wonderful. Oxford is a special place and we look forward to attending every year."

"Staff, breakfast, room cleanliness were all Excellent. Only problem was internet connection. Could not connect to my provider in the room. Connection was good in hotel lobby or outside. May have had something to do with the weather while we were in Oxford. MS. Would recommend hotel and will likely use again."

"Everything was great except none of the ice machines worked. Front desk staff didn’t seem to care.
The shuttle drivers were fabulous and very courteous. Really enjoyed our stay except for no ice and some of the vending machines were out of order as well."

"I misunderstood the desk clerk and went to the wrong room (124 instead of 134). My key worked! The room overall was ok - it was clean. But my initial thought was it was a smoking room. The longer I was in the room, the less it smelled like smoke. It just smelled bad. If I moved around during the night, the bed mattress moved (kind of scary). The mattress felt like it had springs in it. Very uncomfortable. The shower did not work. Great water pressure but no shower. I could not get under the faucet to wash my hair so I got a cup and just poured the water over my head. Same for rinsing. Same for bathing. I did not feel unsafe (locked every lock) and there was a security light just outside my room. Overall - I guess I should have spent the $200+ and stayed at a better place. Not even trying breakfast!"
