Quaint.

Lovely little place to stay. Friendly welcome although the house rules were a bit over the top regarding the cats and the doors. I’m sorry but we were guests if the cats are a problem then unfortunately that’s for you to sort out not but it on the guests. Also not everyone likes cats around them at breakfast time. The room needs some updating. The bathroom sink had a bad crack in it which was badly repaired. The hot water tap was undone (which we were told about) and the towel rail on the bathroom door was broken. Excellent breakfast.

Very interesting property being listed made it quite quirky. Great hosts, lovely breakfast. Lovely place to explore, lots of interesting shops, shame the museum was closed. Would definitely stay again

This is an old historic building that has restrictions on what can be done on it structurally. Yet it has clean modern facilities inside. All very comfortable, while retaining the charm of the building. Our host - Darryl - was so helpful and hospitable. Everything from best places to eat, topping up our in-room supplies, where to park for what, and breakfasts that were vastly above the average "full English". I can't say enough about what a find this place was. Price was very moderate for the area.
