"Far Away from Munnar. More than 20 Kms away, one hour drive. Not on any Site Seeing Route, Much Lower altitude. No Valley view. Very small property (1 acre) considering the distance from Munnar Town. No walk way other than the one that connects the reception to your room. Lawns approx 1000 sq feet. No activity other than one small badminton court. Gardens, Lawns are not well maintained. It is not a Resort, considering the distance from Munnar. No WiFi in rooms. Furniture cheap, sub...

"Great Experience"

"We stayed at Monsoon Grande in Dec 2019. The view of the tea plantation from the room was wonderful, but it's far away from most place without private transportation. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean. But the couch and sofa had stay and there was mildew in the shower and there was a very humid smell in the room in general. It's really humid up there and the room didn't seem ventilated enough. There were ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, but no AC. The staff was...

"AVOID..I will give this place negative ratings if it’s an option. It’s the filthiest place I ever checked into. The rooms smell moldy. Bed sheets had stains. Their photos are totally misleading. Most of the reviews are fake. I immediately asked the receptionist to cancel the booking and asked for a full or partial refund. They asked me cancel via Expedia and they will refund. I did the same but they informed the Expedia agent they won’t give any refunds."

"First hotel in my life to have turned me away saying we did not accept your booking. I made the booking and it was non-refundable, after a long day of driving and expedition, I make it to the hotel to find out I do not have a room. Staff at the reception was -5/5 and took 20 minutes to type one line in english which was a confirmation I was requesting on paper that the hotel turned me away and considering this was a non refundable booking, I should get reimbursed Try and avoid booking here"
