"Overall, Windermere House is a fun, affordable place to stay for couples or families.
The setting is beautiful and the building is clean and kept up nicely. The room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was "over lit", but satisfactory. The breakfasts were good although a bit more variety would be nice. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. We'd definitely consider a return trip :)"

"It was quiet, clean. The staff were very friendly. The room was great. I enjoyed my stay there preparing for a triathlon race. I will come back to that motel if I come back to do that race again."

"This was one of the cleanest and best maintained hotels I have stayed at this year. From the moment I arrived until my departure six days later, the staff consistently provided exceptional, friendly, and professional service.

"Good accommodation in great location. Room with lake veiw balcony was great. Some parts of room and hotel looking a bit dated. Had to ask for sofa bed to be made up, even though we had booked for 3 adults.
Breakfast area very busy at weekend.
Overall we had a good stay and would recommend."

"We were in Huntsville for dance competitions for the weekend. Luckily we only were here one night. We booked the King bed and pull out sofa for two adults and one child. The goal was to utilize the pull out sofa which didn’t work. The hotel front desk man came to try to help. Whoever used it before us got the mattress stuck and it wouldn’t properly open. "This is not a spa. Pool was out of order and no spa treatments offered. An outdoor sauna and jacuzzi were the only spa-like options. So really, nothing in the summer"
