"We had our own little cabin (Unit #8). Open floor plan for kitchen, dining, bed. Seating on a nice little deck. Shower looks tired, but hot water showed up quickly and I had a good shower. Our only issue was that there were ants in the kitchen. The owner/manager said he would take care of it when we went out for dinner, and when we came back, no more ant issue."

"What a great location in Paihia! At the very beginning of the strip, so you’re away from the busier hub up. Close enough for a quick seven minute walk to the pier and the center, passing great cafés and beautiful scenery along the way. Directly across the beach with beach bbq’s and picnic tables. "We accessed our room from the back-side and our initial thought was OMG, as we walked into our bedroom. But going further in we had a second bedroom full bathroom, a small but functioning kitchen and a nice sized living room with a chair, sofa and table with chairs. It is just a five minute walk to stores and restaurants and the sea. And the staff were very kind and helpful. We would go back in a heartbeat"

"This is a great place to stay. The amenities are very good and clean and tidy. Dorm rooms are comfortable but can get quite warm. Good location opposite the wharf and within 30 minutes walking treat grounds and other walking tracks. Staff are very good and informative and will provide you with plenty of help if needed. "

We had to pay for the first night due to late cancellation, but relieved not to stay there. The rooms smell, the carpets are worn and the bed felt terrible.
