Showcase Quality B&B

This is a top notch B&B . Beautifully designed and presented, the place is like a designer's showcase (Which it is!) Friendly, informative hosts Jenny & Peter will help you in any way they can. Peter even offered to take us with him for a sunset swim at the beach!

This lovely home is in a good location if you want to be close to the town. The hosts are welcoming and provided useful tips if you want to get a bite to eat in town or see some sights. The breakfast provided was delicious and brought to your room to enjoy privately. We didn't need a television but just a note that there isn't one in the room in case it's something you do want.

Beautiful B & B

Gorgeous room in a beautiful home! The home sits on a hill with a view that looks toward Tongariro. I was told on a clear day you can see the volcano. The Browns are so sweet, and hospitable, and full of information about New Zealand and the Whangnui area. We took their advice and visited several fun attractions in the area before heading to Wellington. It is a very beautiful area with many interesting things to do and see. Brown's is a fantastic place to stay if you're planning to visit. And the breakfast is delicious too. We will be back, soon I hope!

A great find!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was fantastic, and we really liked having the little sitting area. Our hosts were very accommodating and gave us a good recommendation for dinner. I would definitely stay here again!

There was nothing I didnt like the grounds were peaceful and relaxing the watercolor room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the little extras that made my stay welcoming. The choices of breakfast every day was amazing. Our hosts were very helpful and obliging.

Brown's Boutique B&B - Outstanding!

Everything about our stay was as good as could be. We were welcomed enthusiastically by Peter, who offered many suggestions for things to see and do in the local area. The suite was bright and cheerful, well appointed, immaculately clean, and with a view out to a beautiful garden. The next morning Jenny brought us a delicious breakfast, and afterward gave us a tour of the property, with bird watching! Jenny and Peter are, quite simply, genuinely delightful people and outstanding hosts. If we are fortunate to visit NZ again, we will definitely stay with them again.

Beautiful property, so well put together with lovely decor. Only stayed one night but lovely stopover on way up to Rotorua but a really relaxing place to stay. Jenny is a wonderful host.

We had a great stay. Our hosts were approachable and helpful, and the room had everything we could have asked for and more. We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to return in the future.

Fabulous!

Peter and Jenny were very nice and friendly. The room was the best so far during our three week visit in New Zealand. The yard, garden and outdoor patio area were beautiful. Jenny served us an outstanding breakfast in the morning. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to enjoy this fabulous boutique B&B.

Clean, clean, clean with elegant touches

Brown's was just the thing as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. This B n B is elegant. The room, very spacious and comfortable. Lovely bathroom with in floor heating which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was brought to our room and we appreciated it's quality and presentation. This B n B gets a 10 out of 10 from us!
