"Enjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! "
"Toilet seat was loose. Not to worry I tightened it. Funny cuz it seems to be a thing in all most every hotel I go to stay at. I started carrying screw drivers. Property seems to be in the not so greatest of locations, with a lot of different types of people running around after dark. Out side around the adjacent property.But I did feel secure in the hotel.

"Right off 81 this was the perfect stop for us. Bed was comfortable except the pillows were pretty flat. Our room was on the highway side so a bit noisy. I would try to get opposite side of hotel. Staff was great! Nicely updated and clean. I would stay there again but request a room on opposite side "
"The restaurant next door was no longer open. We did find a lovely Italian restaurant just a mile or two down the road. Many places within a few minutes drive. "
