My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Desert inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was full but parking was not a problem. Breakfast was typical fare but plentiful and way above average. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. What we didn't like was that there was no wash basin in the toilet, so germs going on the door handle if you didn't wash your hands in the bath. The wash basin was actually in the bedroom. That was a problem for my wife trying to sleep while I was up early, lights on and shaving. Aside from that I would definitely recommend this hotel. Oh, and I forgot to say, it's very close to the park entrance.

Breakfast was amazing and also the breakfast staff was very helpful and courteous. The front desk staff, housekeeping, everyone was so friendly and willing to offer any kind of help needed. The location in town is perfect for dinner, shopping and entertainment and the location to the entrance to Yellowstone was the icing on the cake. If we ever travel to this area again we will be returning the the Best Western Desert Inn.

We stayed at Best Western Desert Inn as a family of five adults and found it to be clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The location is excellent—just minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The main downside was the breakfast. A hot, hearty breakfast was advertised, but in reality it was quite limited—juice, bagels, coffee, pastries (which were not very good), and a pancake station we didn’t end up using. When we asked about items like eggs and sausage, we were told they had stopped serving hot breakfast because the park was closing in a couple of days. That was disappointing, especially for guests still staying there during that time!!
