The property is beautiful and the best for a relaxing time. The rooms are so nice and when I arrived to my room they welcomed me with so many special details. The restaurant by the beach was so nice and staff is very welcoming. Definitely recommend especially if you just want peace

The Quintessence is truly a magical property. The staff was incredible. The buildings, gardens, pool and beach are stunning. Our meals at both Julien's and the beach shack were excellent. It is a very special, quiet, relaxing escape. We would love to go back.

It was an incredibly relaxing experience, the staff had thought of everything from welcome champagne and cheese and charcuterie, to sun cream around the pool. With so few guests, it felt more like a private villa than a hotel which we loved. We were often the only ones by the pool if we sat there, and the beach is great. Julian’s on site did fantastic food but there is also a selection of restaurants along Meads bay too.

What a fantastic place! Loved every second of our stay. We had a junior suite at the adjacent building, and it was SO spacious and lovely. We had 2 bathrooms and 2 closets, very nice! The hotel beach is AMAZING, and with only one other Villa around, was private for most of the time. Incredible! The restaurant team was also super nice, accommodating and friendly! If anything, I can only complain about hotels.com, as they dont have enough pictures of this room type, and didnt write that breakfast was included (what a nice surprise when we arrived!!)

What an AMAZING experience we had at the Quintessance Hotel! Stunning property with an intimate feel and delicious food! I definitely think was a nice hotel but WAYYYY overpriced….nothing special… I have stayed at MUCH nicer places for MUCH cheaper… and knowing the beach is not swim able you shld not be charging that much

The experience was great but I likely wont revisit this property for several reasons. The management team repeatedly ignored the terms and conditions of my booking with Expedia. Luckily, Expedia was very helpful. There are more reasonable and less cumbersome properties to visit.

From the moment I arrived everyone here made an incredible effort to welcome me and to show me the wonderful property. While everyone was exceptional, I would make special call-outs to Armando (who was technically my ‘butler’ but who I met at the beach facility and who really went all out), my server i the restaurant shared so much wonderful detail about the locally-sourced items like the saltwater crayfish), and everyone at the front desk. While my stay was short, this experience means I will be back. I have stayed in many islands and many hotels, but it is very rare to get this level of attentive and sincere care.

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this hotel. The staff were some of the nicest people I have ever met, the room was immaculate, food was delicious, rooms were STUNNING, they accommodated every need/ask, were helpful in answering any questions I had, made us feel welcomed and safe, the list goes on. One of the best vacations I’ve had. Not to mention, they are located near some great restaurants on the island and little beach shacks. The location is perfect. We rented a car and parked it right out front the hotel. Super easy. Would absolutely stay again!

This hotel is a gem of the island! We enjoyed so much. All the staffs were super nice, view was amazing(even in the room, you can see a whole sea view) and food, oh my god, is so fresh and delicious as heaven. Chef Dominique is the best! We also had a private dining experience in the wine cellar room just two of us. It was so romantic and for a huge wine lover like me, it’s such a special time(they have a plenty of good wine selections too). And the room, once you step into the room, you won’t believe what you’re seeing. The interior is so unique and artistic & classic, my favorite part was the room’s directly connected to a private lounge which has a living room with a cute bar and balcony with beautiful view & separate tv room and also conference room in case you need it. When you get into your personal room, you’ll feel like you became a princess because of the pretty, gorgeous looking powder room and bathroom with the prettiest freestanding tub you might ever seen. I’m not sure if it was promotion or not, but they gave us welcome champagne and cheese platter & assorted fruits! That was very warm welcoming and we’re appreciated. Bed room had comfy bed & balcony with a dream-like ocean view. I felt like in the movie when I had a breakfast in there. Finally when you go outside, there’s a huge outdoor pool with a great sunset view. For the lunch, you can have a dining right by the beach(this opened-wooden little restaurant is so cute). Best hotel&dining experience in my life.
