Beautiful Resort, Friendly Staff

Long Bay Beach Resort is a beautiful property. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. When booking, we didn't realize that the property was on such a rocky beach, but there is a beautiful beach a short dive away, which the hotel will bring you to and pick you up from. Looking forward to going back.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this resort is. First of all, the staff are so full of positive vibes and really made us feel genuinely welcome. Then the rooms, amenities, and location were all top notch! Absolutely would recommend!

Amazing Getaway for R&R!

Absolutely terrific! A smaller resort which made it more warm and friendly. Terrific staff who were so helpful and kind. The food was first rate and our room was absolutely beautiful. We had a hard time finding any faults. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Room was great, staff was very friendly, beautiful beach right off the outdoor patio of our room. Great place for a quiet couples getaway. Not many activities on property but easy day trips to Virgin Gorda and other islands.

The entire staff was amazing, very friendly and so accommodating! Food at resort was very good , had to pay to drive to other dinner locations. Housing was beautiful , staff went out of their way to surprise us with a wonderful birthday / Anniversary surprise in our room

Amazing stay at Long Bay Beach. Service could be a little slow at times, but you’re on island time. Also, find out what time food options, bar closes, as it is earlier than expected for a vacation spot. Also, if you get car sick, request the airport transfer on the less curvy/hilly road. Although it may only be 5-7 miles, transit time is close to 30-45 minutes. Despite all the “issues” it was spectacular and would definitely go again.

This is a truly lovely property. BVI feel that is relaxing, amazing staff and amazing location. Akil is one of the best managers we have ever worked with anywhere. He will set up any trip, suggest things to do and the right people to help you. Our expectations were exceeded, indeed!

JUST WOW!!!!! Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff with welcoming smiles and refreshing drinks. We stayed in one of the beautiful first floor villas, right on the beach, which included a beautiful private patio facing the ocean, various beach chairs and lounges, both on the beach and on our patio. A comfy king bed, large bathroom, refrigerator, coffee press and large TV all made the stay extremely comfortable. The details of this villa were amazing!!! Total luxury right on the beach!!! Everything is of the highest quality. We ended each night with a bottle of wine on the patio. We ate all of our meals at the main restaurant. It was wonderful! We have traveled to various places in the Caribbean and this by far was one of the nicest boutique resorts!! Also the hotel offers a dedicated crew of drivers for hassle free transport around the island. If you are looking for total relaxation and no crowds, this is the place!

Lovely resort with very fashionable rooms. We had 2 rooms. One was on ground floor facing ocean. The views were beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Unfortunately when we arrived the refrigerator had leaked and there was water all over the floor and the room key they gave us opened to an occupied room! Also the outdoor furniture cushions were missing or ill fitting. So you couldn’t really use the wood lounger with no cushion. Other units had their cushions. The other room was a hillside one that was pretty and had a gorgeous view. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Just think they need to really check the rooms before guests show to make sure they are tidy and clean inside AND out. We found a broken wine glass just outside our deck on our path that could have caused a lot of foot damage had we not been flagged by the Neighbor next door. So attention to detail is a little weak at the resort, but overall it’s gorgeous there, comfortable beds, excellent food, but no cable too. No one explained that either. They need an in room list to explain the amenities too. Since the staff are very young and clearly not too well trained.

Long Bay Beach Resort, is one of the most luxurious experiences I’ve ever had. The AC and ceiling fan worked so well that we were able to keep our room doors open for hours without the room getting warm so that we could hear the waves crashing. Our room was EXACTLY 22 steps from the clear blue waters ( I counted). The room decor is GOALS and the property was so meticulously decorated that you could tell that the aesthetic was extremely important to crafting your experience at Long bay. Quite often my wife would look to me and say, “this is unreal. Is this place actually real?” SUCCESS. The food and menus were definitely something that the hotel put a lot of pride into and it shows. The bar looks out over the water and the drink menu is quite refined. Also the hotel offers a dedicated crew of drivers that drive you to and from during your trip without the hassle of dealing with taxis. In conclusion, if you want to be a short drive from island hopping ferries and also you value that breathtaking beachfront experience then I don’t think you find anything better than Long Bay Beach Resort in all of the BVI’s Thank you Long Bay! Side note: The manager of the property, Akil, is a legend and ensured that our experience was perfect. Having someone that personally cares so deeply about your vacation experience, makes it just that much sweeter.

Long Bay was absolutely stunning. Akil took care of us from the time we got there until the time we left. The rooms and location are absolutely beautiful. This is a must stay location for couples and anyone looking to get away with their partner or couples. We will definitely be coming back!

The hotel is beautiful and our beach villa was awesome. You wake up with a view of the ocean and sitting on the deck and looking out at the waves and hearing them crash on the beach was so relaxing. The food was great and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I would recommend a screen over the bathroom window because people walking by can see you when you're getting ready in the bathroom. Also, my wife likes to sleep in a little and there are no curtains or anything in the bedroom that can block out the morning sunlight, just screens that go up and down, but they don't really filter much light. And our toilet room next to the bathroom continuously smelled like urine, which was odd. But other than that I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to unwind and relax. The beach villas are perfect for this.
