"The room was spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is conveniently located in Wellsboro, which is a nice town that is easy to walk in. There was a CVS across the street if you forgot any necessities like we did and a supermarket if you want to put together a picnic lunch when you go out to hiking trails around the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. It was easy to get to both sides of the canyon from the lodge. Their sister hotel has a nice bar and serves dinner with friendly...

"Neat old property. No updates. Could use some newer window treatments. Air conditioner filter dirty. We cleaned and made it work much better. I appreciate the history but prefer newer updates accommodations. Staff was great! ."
