"I was looking for an overnight spot driving from Washington to SoCal and found the listing for b.side motel. I have often thought that these old classic motels could be made into something unique and b.side hit the mark! We parked right outside our door makiing it easy to unload. The room was decorated in a fun and unique way. We really appreciated the amenities from refrigerator to candies in a jar. The owners really gave thought and attention to detail. The bed was extremely comfortable...

"Property was over priced for quality. Bed cover had stain (red) was either jelly or blood. Hope it was jelly. Bed was messy when made on far side . Parking was at a minimum and had to walk up hill to get to room. Not handicap friendly. One lady barely got her father up steps. He had a walker and thought it was a ground level. But there are steps. Breakfast is a grab and go. Not really an included breakfast. Was first disappointment on a multi week trip"

"View was very nice from the studio. Sadly the walkway down to the beach was under construction so we walked to the next property to go down. Room was comfortable. Was expecting all of the toiletries but didn't have any lotion. For the amount paid, thought the breakfast would have been more than warming up in a microwave. Good for one time, will not return."
