"I had an ocean view room which also looked over the car park & pub on the corner. Was a bit noisy on Fri & Sat nights & during the day as they are renovating the outside of the building. Didn’t bother me as l was not there during the day. I loved being able to see & hear the ocean & the close proximity to restaurants & beach walks. The room was very spacious & good storage for clothes. The hotel is in need of an update but for the price l paid, l felt it was excellent value for money."

"A real gem. This unique hotel is in an incredibly convenient location. The rooms are very efficient and comfortable. The front-desk staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. "Loved staying in a historic building. Beautiful architecture and great, friendly staff. The bar is exceptionally eell sticked ! Only difficulty for us was the music downstairs in the bar and restaurant until midnight when we are usually early to bed. Please note steep, narrow stairs, but it is a historic building."
