The view is spectacular from your door. The location is great very near to the Wanaka tree and the water. Beautiful walks and close to shops and restaurants.our unit was large and well equipped. Very clean too. Checkin was very efficient and quick,

We stayed in a cabin for a couple of nights. It was ideal for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children). The kitchen was great. Good cooking facilities and a comfy dining area. The showers were good. Such a handy location to town and the lake front. Would definitely go back to stay another time.

Liked that it was A New Tiny Home with some Great facilities included, though for cost of $280 for the 2 nights with no Toilet or Shower was somewhat of A disappointment.

We stayed 1 night with 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was tiny and parking was not possible in front of the room, as apparently there are more rooms than the available parking space. The kitchen was over crowded most of the meal times, and all utensils were not enough (but one can borrow from the office at extra charge). The shared toilet & bathroom was ok. We didn't get time to explore the surrounding, but we liked that it's walkable distance to the lake. There are some kids playground in the park and near the lake, which is great for families with small kids. We won't hesitate to stay again if we come back to Wanaka.

Loved it! Easy walking distance to the lake and heaps of cafes. We stayed in the budget 2 bedroom self contained cottage and although old it was the perfect choice for us and excellent value for money. I thought we would be really cold but there were heaps of blankets and more than enough heaters to go round. Great spot to set yourself up in for access to Cardrona and the Snow Farm. Hot water and pressure were great. Only thing I didn’t love was that there was no drop box for the room key as we departed early. I didn’t feel right leaving it in an unlocked box that could easily be opened by the next person and I didn’t have a code handy for the safe box. It was a little stressful figuring out what to do when we were in a hurry to leave for a full day on the slopes. I ended up giving the key to the guy in the office next to reception. Overall would recommend and stay again!
