"Stayed two nights at the property. Property was clean and great to have a kitchen. Location was close to town but not really walking distance. There is a supermarket and Warehouse close by which was handy. Couple of things could be improved - couches were so hard, really uncomfortable to sit on. The lock on the sliding door was really difficult to use, needs looking at. Tried to let management know on way out at 10am but reception not open! Was good to have a free carpark with the 2 bedroom...

"No parking and no idea that I had already paid for the room. Showed him my bank statement that had the amount withdrawn from my bank account. Will never use Expedia again."

"This is a perfectly servable older style Motel, while it is dated it is clean and functional. The guest laundry only being accessible 'by appointment' is not at all convenient. Parking is good but more care should be taken to do the small things. e.g. the ashtray out the front of my unit had the same cigarette butts in it for 3 days. There were their when I arrived and never moved."

"We were pleased to be located at the rear of the complex so didn’t hear traffic noise. The suite was situated nicely and clean and the beds were comfortable. Was especially happy to be welcomed by a cat, not sure if it’s part of the complex or neighbour but was a delightful surprise, just want to know its name. Only there for a night so only interaction with staff was check-in and the person was friendly. Kitchen is small but has the basic supplies to be able to prepare a simple meal."

"Good, comfortable, quality room. I entered the room and there were a few of those Whittaker’s chocolate squares to greet me. Close to the penguin viewing. Plenty of good dining choices as well. Pleasant hotel in pleasant town with pleasant chaps. Bravo!"

"Convenient location and comfortable and well appointed room - perfect for our one night stay in Oamaru. Easy parking and ground floor room made access very easy. Would not hesitate to recommend to other travellers. We didn’t use the on site restaurant or bar facilities so can’t comment on that."
