Great location

Customer service very good, restaurant not the best food but great sympaty and willing to please the clients. The installations are old style but confortable beds and has everything for a quick stop during visiting the area.

Confortable hotel but in an area...

The hotel is big and quite comfortable inside, but graffitti outside and location in an area with abandoned buildings made our arrival weird. It was Sunday night and maybe that made it look even worse. A sunny monday morning and the good attention of front desk made everything look better. We could even walk to the tourist zones.

The view of the Bay/water front was beautiful. But if you were looking for the beach you need to go further up or down the coast. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly and the breakfast was more than just coffee & bread. You had fruit, egg, sausage, pastries and so much more to eat. This area was very walkable. As you walked the city the dining options were plentiful from Pizza to Chinese to local dining. Public transportation was easily found. The only disappointing aspect of the city was the Graffiti that was everywhere. But we enjoyed our time in Valparaiso.

We were robbed inside the hotel lobby. Doors wide open No security and the staff did not assist us in anyway. Wouldn't even call the police for us to report. Poorly trained staff. The best part was that the breakfast staff was friendly and food was fresh. We reserved a city view and instead got a view of a dilapated rooftop.

Average hotel for cruisers

Here is my recent experience with this hotel. I stayed there for a post-cruise stay of one night. Pros: location for cruisers only in my opinion. From the hotel you can walk along the train track to the cruise terminal in Valparaiso. Approximately 800m walk. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Our A/C unit did not work well so this was a negative point for me. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety of options. Cons: Location is not an incentive to go for a walk around. We took Uber to go to Vina del Mar which is nicer and not far. Check-in was average but not more. I believe this hotel needs more love. I would recommend ONLY if you take a cruise from Valparaiso cruise terminal and you want to be close,

Good for the view.

Old fashioned hotel with excellent structure. The breakfast service was great. Clean room and toiletry supplies. Wonderful view from the room. There's a grocery store close to the hotel, which came in handy since the hotel food service prices were higher than average. Front desk not very friendly.
