"We had an amazing experience staying in the amazing Chateau de Varambon. Countess Boissieu and host Thibaud were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was authentic and delicious. The chateau and its surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful."

"The property is being developed and is a building site. There was no one in reception. A phone call to the owner resulted in us being told to go to the open room. There was no refreshment available. There are no signs or instructions about fire or emergency evacuation and no smoke alarms or extinguishers."

One the highlights was our hosts, who gave us great recommendations for both restaurants and things to do in the local area.
