"The A/C was not working, so the only fresh air was coming from the open windows. Windows have no mosquito nets and each morning my family was covered in mosquito bytes. In addition, the noise from outside made it impossible to have good night sleep: working pump and construction at 4 am near the hotel, among other loud noises. If the air was flowing in the room, even without A/C, it would still help because the air outside was around 65-70 degrees but there was no flow of air at all. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was very welcoming. While the room was small, it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast offered a great variety of options. I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Montecarlo again in the future. "

"Hotel was in a great location, central but tucked away on a quiet lane. Easy to walk in every direction. Room was on the 4th floor, so lots of steps, but we got lucky that our room had a good view. The only negative for us was the beds and pillows not being the most comfortable, but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Staff are friendly. I would stay here again."

"We chose to return to this hotel because we enjoyed it so much the first time. About 5.00pm each night the day trippers leave and the serenity and beauty of Murano is compelling. It is quiet, rooms are comfortable and staff, especially at breakfast are delightful. The breakfast selection is huge and high quality with as much coffee or tea (or prosecco) as you want. There are five or six excellent restaurants within easy walking distance and the shopping is amazing. "
