Been a couple times to Venice and this is not a 4 star hotel by any means. Heating wasn’t working and they said they had shut down due to overload. At peak hours, shower varies temperature. Rotting doors. Location is great. I can’t think of best location, but the hotel is completely overrated.

Great location for a weekend break, 2min walk from St Marks Square. Convenient to main sight seeing water transports, shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly.

Great location, bar had a wonderful view of the Gondala’s, breakfast was very good. Bathroom was a good size. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable.

It is very close to St Mark’s Square. Easy access to all the lovely winding streets, quaint restaurants and many shops. Felt very safe during the day and at night.

Las habitaciones en general son muy pequeñas, pero la descripción si lo dice, hagan caso, es verdad, pero tiene buena limpieza y el servicio en recepción es muy bueno, lo más hermoso es que está aún lado del comienzo del paseo en góndola y a un lado de la plaza San Marcos, además nos tocó la habitación con vista a las góndolas y fue lo más hermoso.

Location is great. Very close to main plaza. Rooms are tiny. Showers very tight. Elevators are very small. I called ahead of time to make a request and felt like they didn’t care about my needs. Hotel staff not very flexible or caring. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is well-situated, close to many shops and transportation. However, the air conditioning does not work. We were advised to open the windows to allow air into the room but then the noise coming from the outside was unbearable and hence had to close the windows despite the heat.

We had a good stay, we left our suitcases after we check out and we were able to do some more exploration of Venice which is very nice thing, walking with them for half a day would be hale.The room was ready even before our check in hour.

A few paces from Piazza San Marco but quiet and right on the canal with gondolas lined up. Great position to walk round monuments or down to the Grand Canal in 5 mins

The hotel is in a great location. Less than a 1 minute walk to San Marco and all the high end shops. My wife and I stayed for 9 nights and did not eat at the same restaurant twice. Staff is courteous and professional.

Personnel charmant que ce soit la réception, le petit déjeuner et la femme de chambre. L’hôtel est au calme et en même temps en plein centre des zones touristiques (à 1 min de la place St Marc, 1 min des commerces et 10 min de l’arrêt Vaporetto et Alilaguna). La salle de bain mériterait un coup de jeune avec une grande douche plutôt qu’une baignoire repeinte. Dommage qu’on entende parler les voisins de chambre ou dans le couloir.

Great location, just off San Marco, staff were lovely. We did have to walk up many flights of stairs so definitely got our steps in for each da. I would have preferred a room with a view but comprised on location which was amazing and we had a great weekend in Venice

Perfect for our stay-family of 4. Loved the location. Just a one minute walk to St. Marks Square. Staff was so helpful and accommodating. Many bakery and dining choices nearby. Gondolas outside the hotel. Cute bar to sit and view the canal. Lovely! We’ll be back!

I felt the hotel could use some upgrades. I thought Venice was not like it used to be which was sad. The way a single traveler is treated is horrible and I am not the only one who said this. I also went to get a water taxi and evidently bought the we my ticket. I got fined a hefty amount. What a joke and the rude lady would not even let me make it right or help me she just wanted the money for the fine. This would not happen in the US. I will and believe me when I say this, I will never go to Venice again. The sad part is I have always talked up Venice but it is a mess. Period!

The location is perfect, the staff is incredibly friendly. But this cannot be considered a 4 star hotel. Room is falling apart and you can see holes on the skirtings, shower was broken, and the list can keep going. You can hear everything from the other rooms, from the water in the shower to things being placed on the sink. They're going through very needed renovations now, but with little respect for the guests, works started at 7:30 am outside our window - we had builders literally looking over our window, shouting, using the drill etc. It's quite an expensive hotel to be going through this kind of stress, we went to relax and celebrate our anniversary, but got this instead. It's very unfortunate, as the staff is really brilliant and trying their best and the location being so perfect. I hope they take this in consideration and think more about the guests while doing the works.

Hotel is located just off St Mark's Square and within walking distance of several attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is based across two buildings - the main building has reception, a bar and breakfast room, and guest rooms. The second building has only guest rooms (where I was). You have to be 'buzzed in' every time you one to re-enter which can be slightly inconvenient. The room was clean but quite tired - there was some peeling wallpaper and broken sockets. The bathroom was also quite dated. An iron and ironing board wasn't available in the room, however an iron was provided on request. Overall, an OK hotel with friendly staff, but don't expect the 4 stars to equate to UK standards.

Hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately the staff weren’t particularly helpful and when having to ask for anything as it was not provided as stated in included details it was awkward and we were made to feel bad. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms and none in communal areas as stated in hotel details.

The hotel was about as close to Piazzo San Marco as possible! We had booked a “superior” room, but it was tiny with no view whatsoever. It was even in an auxiliary building, so not even on the canal unlike all of the pictures on their website. Breakfast was okay, but the dining room was terribly cramped and crowded. Superior location to explore all of Venice.
