The property was well located and relatively easy to find. The apartment was spacious, although very poorly lit.
The hot water service had to be restarted every morning, instructions about every item about the apartment were handwritten in Italian, it was almost impossible to translate the language for someone who has rudimentary knowledge of Italian. Suggest that instructions are typed - Even in Italian it would be easier to translate.
The biggest issue for me was that the lock on the door of the washing machine was broken and I couldn’t open the door. I booked the unit based on the fact that it had a washing machine, it was an inconvenience not to have it.
I sent an sms about the issue to the number I was given, however did not receive a response at all, and didn’t bother following up, I had other things to do while I was in Venice.
Let’s just start with the TOILET NOT FLUSHING during the the 3 night stay. Reported to 2 different people with promises that someone would be there to fix and no one showed up. Also,Washing machine had a broken door handle but did manage a partial wash but after losing power 3 times to the whole suite; had to find and reset breaker which we found 3 floors down by front entrance to the building. (POOR ELECTRICAL WIRING to trip breaker 3 times - guess was a reason a flashlight that was left for us) No help from property managers. Most texts and calls left unanswered. Never received a receipt for the City Tax we paid at time of check-in which was 24 euro for the 2 of us. Wifi also not working. Poor lightning in living room area; had to take light from bedroom end table to use. The 2 lights they did have in living room area gave a flashing strobe light effect (good times not sure what these flashing spot lights were for). For your own enjoyment....STAY AWAY from the CARTIER SUITES.
