"Booked into this hotel at the last moment because of a last minute change of plans. Only stayed one night, just wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful setting just a few minutes walk from Jumierges Abbey (go early before the day visitors arrive!). The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Just wish we had had enough time to use the very inviting swimming pool!"

On sent que la rénovation a coûté cher à l’époque — probablement en pots de peinture “rose bonbon sucé” et “saumon indigeste n°42”. Depuis, rien n’a bougé, sauf peut-être la poussière et les illusions. La déco, c’est un peu comme si on avait voulu faire du Ravel mais qu’on avait fini en Richard Clayderman. "We had stayed at the hotel only a week earlier and had asked for the same or similar room for the the three of us (two adults and a child). The room we had then was excellent. However on this occasion despite paying a little more it was smaller, had the strangest lighting set up (if you turned on the bathroom lights you it meant a single ceiling light above our child bed came on..ideal when he needed to sleep). When we arrived we had to ask 3 times for the sofa bed to be made up…it was...

"Rien d’agréable ni dans l’accueil tout juste horrible par le propriétaire qui est arrogant et désagréable. Les housses de couettes sont passées d’âge , à l’origine de couleur blanche mais qui virent vers le grisâtre maintenant. Propreté douteuse Du sang séché sur la housse .. aucun accueil ni conseil.. un petit déjeuner cher pour un petit buffet . Un accueil digne des Tenardiers ."
